Sabres Got A Break

The Buffalo Sabres win in Montreal with the score of 4 to 3 in a shootout. The Sabres are four points out of playoff spot. The defenseman Lydman made it pay off for the Sabres he was the only one that scored in the extra session, goal tender Ryan Miller stopped all six Canadiens shooters, given the Sabres two points for the win.The eighth-place Canadiens entered the night with a five-point lead on the 10th-place Sabres. The Sabres trail Canadiens by four points with seven games remaining in regular-season games and ninth-place Florida just sits three points ahead of them. The Sabres have to play seven games in 11 days this is a very rough schedule for the end of this season.
