Sabres Are Still In

The Buffalo Sabres came back from a two goal deficit with only 12 minutes left in the game. The Sabres fans had so much passion it was such a impressive response for the Sabres with four goals in the third period. The Sabres just shocked the Florida Panthers with a 5-3 victory, to a sellout crowd. The Panthers player gave a cheap shot to Afinogenov after scoring on an empty-net for the last goal of the game and then the rest of the team fought the Panthers players to defend their teammate. The 10 spot Sabres are just five points behind eighth-place Canadians with nine games left. Sabres goaltender Tellqvist saved the day when the Panthers put pressure on him in the early parts of the game.
