Sabres Tough Stretch

The Buffalo Sabres are in another wicked stretch of three games in four nights,to stay alive in the playoff picture. Sabres have to face two strong teams starting Friday game at Washington and Saturday visit to HSBC Arena by New Jersey Devils. The Sabres have 82 points with seven games to play but things got more serious Tuesday night as Canadiens defeated Blackhawks, 4-1, while Panthers downed Senators,5-2. At 82 points, the Sabres are five points behind Panthers and six points behind Canadiens, although Buffalo Sabres has two games in hand over the Panthers and one over the Canadiens. The Sabres know the odds are not good for them to make the playoffs. In 11 days, they will play a tough schedule, they will probably need at least five or six wins in seven games. They will need luck.
